Your Questions, Answered
We know that reaching out for psychological care can come with questions. Below, you’ll find information about what to expect, how our practice works, and what happens as you take the next step toward care.
-
The first step is to complete our contact form and share a little about the support or service you’re seeking. Once we receive your inquiry, our team will review the information and follow up to learn more about your needs.
From there, we can discuss whether therapy, psychological testing, PCIT, consultation, or another service may be the best fit. If we decide to move forward together, we’ll also review scheduling, fees, availability, and what to expect next.

We provide psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include individual therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), consultation, comprehensive psychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations, autism evaluations, ADHD evaluations, and parenting capacity evaluations.
Care is tailored to each person’s age, needs, goals, and circumstances, with an emphasis on evidence-based and individualized treatment.
-
Your first appointment is designed to help us better understand what brings you to care and what you hope to gain from the process.
For therapy, we may discuss your current concerns, personal history, goals, and patterns you would like to better understand or change.
For evaluations, the process typically begins with a clinical interview and may include standardized testing, questionnaires, records review, and other relevant information. Once the evaluation is complete, findings and recommendations are reviewed with you so that you have a clear understanding of the results and next steps.
-
Our practice is private pay and does not bill insurance directly. This allows us to make clinical decisions based on your individual needs rather than insurance requirements.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. When appropriate, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider.
We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your specific benefits, deductible, and reimbursement policies.
-
Depending on the service and clinical need, appointments may be available in person or through telehealth.
Many therapy clients begin with weekly sessions, though frequency may vary based on goals, progress, and individual circumstances. Some psychological evaluations or specialized services may require in-person appointments.
We can discuss the most appropriate format and schedule during the initial consultation.
